  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup mashed bananas about 3-4 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup mini or regular chocolate chips dark, milk, or semi-sweet

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the sugars, eggs, mashed bananas, oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just blended. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
