Ingredients
  

Chufa
  • 1 cup chufa (tiger nuts, dried)
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino sea salt
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika optional

Method
 

  1. Rinse the chufa under cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.
  2. Soak the chufa in water for 8-12 hours. Drain and pat dry.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  4. In a bowl, toss the soaked chufa with olive oil, sea salt, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  5. Place the chufa in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder or chili powder for added flavor before air frying.
