Method
- Make one package of jello according to the instructions on the box (combine with 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water).
- Divide the jello between the cups and place it in the refrigerator to set for about an hour.
- Make another package of jello, whisk in 6 ounces of whipped topping, and pour over the first layer. Chill for another hour.
- Repeat the layering and chilling for the last two layers. The third layer is plain jello, and the fourth is jello with the remaining 8 ounces of whipped topping.
- Top with whipped cream, sprinkles, or berries if desired. Serve chilled.
Notes
These jello cups can be made up to 24 hours in advance and kept in the fridge until ready to serve. Consider doing just two or three layers if short on time.
