- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the crushed pineapple with juice evenly.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- Top with shredded coconut.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with whipped topping.
Notes
This cake is best served warm. You can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Swap shredded coconut with chopped nuts for a different texture.
