Chicken
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
Sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter divided
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper to taste
Optional Toppings
  • shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese for topping
  • caramelized onions for extra richness

Method
 

  1. Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden on both sides and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth, honey, paprika, and parsley. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste. Top with cheese and caramelized onions if desired.
