- Preheat your oven to 450°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the cold milk and blueberries to the dry ingredients.
- Freeze a stick of butter for an hour, then break it into chunks. Spread the chunks evenly over the dough.
- Fold and knead the dough gently to distribute the butter evenly.
- Roll the dough on a floured surface to ¼ to ⅛ inch thick. Use a biscuit cutter to make about six biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 7-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and brush it over the warm biscuits.
- In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, water, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to make the glaze. Drizzle it over the warm biscuits.
Notes
For a richer flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon to the glaze. Serve warm for the best experience.
