- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt and spaghetti, cooking according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a separate pan, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant. Toss cooked spaghetti with garlic oil, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
- For the garlic bread, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on the cut sides of the Italian bread. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
