  • 1 can Refrigerated flaky biscuits Use your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Cooked shrimp (Chopped) Ensure shrimp is cooked and chopped before using
  • 1 cup Lump crab meat (Canned or fresh) Fresh crab meat is ideal for the best flavor
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Can substitute with cheddar for a different flavor
  • 113 g Cream cheese (Softened) Can swap with ricotta for a lighter texture
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning Or use a mix of paprika and celery salt
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (Chopped) Can use chives or dill for a different herbal note
  • 2 tbsp Butter (Melted) Can use olive oil as a healthier alternative

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, lump crab meat, shredded mozzarella, cream cheese, Old Bay seasoning, and parsley. Mix well.
  3. Open the refrigerated biscuits and separate them. Flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of the seafood mixture in the center. Fold the biscuit over and seal it.
  4. Place the filled biscuits on a baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
