Red Velvet Waffles
  • 1 package red velvet cake mix including water, oil, and eggs as per box instructions
Cream Cheese Topping
  • 113 g cream cheese softened
  • 57 g butter softened
  • 180 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 60 ml milk use 2-4 tablespoons as needed for consistency

Method
 

  1. Plug in your waffle iron and let it heat up. Spray generously with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix with the ingredients listed on the box. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the center of the preheated waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Carefully remove the waffle using tongs or a fork. Repeat with the remaining batter, re-spraying as needed.
  5. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and fluffy.
  6. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until fully combined.
  7. Slowly add the milk, a little at a time, whisking until you reach your desired consistency.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over warm red velvet waffles and let it melt into every delicious bite!

Notes
