Method
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Slice the croissants in half lengthwise – stopping when they are cut approximately ¾ of the way through.
- Take one ball of cookie dough and break it into smaller pieces. Stuff the smaller pieces of the cookie dough into the cut croissant like you are stuffing a sandwich.
- Break apart another cookie dough ball and spread it on top of the stuffed croissant.
- Place the prepared croissant on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Repeat with the remaining cookie dough and croissants.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookie dough is baked and golden brown on top.
- Allow the croissants to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These cookies are best enjoyed warm, but they can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
