- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Set up a breading station with flour, egg mixture, and crushed pretzels in separate bowls.
- Dip each chicken breast into the flour, then the egg mixture, and finally the crushed pretzels.
- Place coated chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat milk, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Gradually add cheddar cheese until smooth.
- Remove the sauce from heat once smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the baked chicken rest for a few minutes before serving with the sauce.
