  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can crushed pineapple undrained
  • 227 g cream cheese cubed
  • 113 g melted butter
  • optional coconut or pecans for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, evenly spread the crushed pineapple.
  3. Top with cubed cream cheese.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the pineapple and cream cheese.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. If desired, top with coconut or pecans.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
