Cake Base
  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 325 ml mandarin oranges, with juice approx. 11 oz can
  • 226 g whipped topping approx. 8 oz tub

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions.
  2. Combine the cake mix and mandarin oranges with juice in a mixing bowl. Mix until well blended.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bundt pan and bake as per the cake mix instructions, usually around 25 minutes.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool completely before topping with whipped topping.
  5. Spread the whipped topping over the cooled cake and serve.

Notes

This cake is best enjoyed chilled. You can add fresh orange zest on top for an extra citrusy kick.
