- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, salt, and egg. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Roll dough into a 12x18-inch rectangle. Spread softened butter evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly from the long side and cut into 12 equal rolls. Place in prepared baking dish.
- Let rise for 15 minutes in a warm place, then bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over warm rolls. Serve fresh!
Notes
Use dental floss to cut perfect cinnamon rolls without squishing them. For extra gooey rolls, pour a little heavy cream over them before baking.
