Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Use boneless skinless for best results
Coating
  • 1 can evaporated milk 12 oz can
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/8 tsp pepper Freshly ground for best flavor
  • 1/4 cup butter Melted
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup Condensed
  • 1/4 cup water Use to thin the soup if desired

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Dip each chicken breast into evaporated milk, then dredge in flour mixed with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the coated chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  4. Melt the butter and pour it over the chicken.
  5. Mix the Cream of Chicken soup with water and pour over the chicken.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.

Notes

Serve with your favorite side dishes such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables. This dish is great for freezing and reheating later.
