  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 piece Zest of 1 lemon Use a microplane to zest the lemon
  • 227 g cream cheese, cubed Let it soften at room temperature for easier mixing
  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 120 ml melted butter Ensure butter is fully melted for even distribution

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the blueberry pie filling in an even layer at the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the lemon zest over the blueberry pie filling.
  4. Distribute the cubed cream cheese evenly over the blueberry mixture.
  5. Evenly spread the lemon cake mix over the top of the other ingredients.
  6. Pour the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring it covers as much of the surface as possible.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let the cake cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
