  • 100 g grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 100 g breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-seasoned) Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs add extra flavor.
  • 2 large eggs Eggs help bind the meatloaf.
  • 1 medium onion, diced Ensure even dicing for consistent texture.
  • 30 ml soy sauce (low-sodium recommended) Low-sodium soy sauce helps control saltiness.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust salt to taste if using regular soy sauce.
  • 1 tsp black pepper Freshly ground for best flavor.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This meatloaf pairs well with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. Use a meat thermometer to ensure it's cooked through.
