Chicken
  • 2 pieces large boneless skinless chicken breasts Tender and juicy
  • 240 ml buttermilk For tenderizing the chicken
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Breading
  • 120 g all-purpose flour
  • 120 g panko breadcrumbs
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
Sandwich Sauce
  • 60 g mayonnaise
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces sandwich rolls (ciabatta or brioche)
  • 200 g romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 120 ml Caesar dressing
  • Extra g Parmesan cheese for garnish Optional

Method
 

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, panko breadcrumbs, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce to make the sandwich sauce.
  6. Slice the rolls and spread the sauce on both sides. Layer with romaine lettuce, crispy chicken, and Caesar dressing. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

For best results, use fresh sandwich rolls and high-quality Parmesan cheese. Feel free to add extra toppings like sliced tomatoes or avocado for more flavor.
