Cod Fillets
  • 2 fillets cod Look for thick, even cuts.
  • 15 ml olive oil Regular, not extra virgin.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder This sticks better than fresh garlic.
  • 1 tsp paprika Use sweet or smoked.
  • 0.5 tsp salt Kosher salt sticks better than table salt.
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper Freshly cracked if desired.
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper Optional for a spicy kick.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Coat the cod fillets with the spice mixture.
  4. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
