Ingredients
  

Banana Bread Batter
  • 2-3 pieces ripe bananas mashed
  • 80 g butter melted
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt a little pinch
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 big egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 190 g all-purpose flour
Cinnamon Swirl
  • 67 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Stir in the melted butter, baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and mix until combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for the swirl. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

This banana bread is perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack. You can add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
