Ingredients
  

Kofta Mixture
  • 454 g Ground Chicken Substitute with ground turkey for a leaner option.
  • 1 medium Onion Use finely chopped onion for even distribution.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Use minced for maximum aroma.
  • 60 ml Fresh Parsley Substitute with cilantro for a different profile.
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin Key spice for warmth.
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander Offers citrusy notes.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Used for grilling.
Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 240 ml Plain Yogurt Substitute with coconut yogurt or cashew cream for a dairy-free version.
  • 30 ml Lemon Juice Fresh lemon is ideal.

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into small oval patties. Preheat the grill and brush it with olive oil. Grill the kofta for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  3. For the garlic yogurt sauce, mix plain yogurt with lemon juice in a bowl. Serve the kofta warm with the sauce on the side.

Notes

Serve with warm pita bread or rice for a complete meal. Adjust spices to taste if desired.
