Main Ingredients
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent dough
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 120 ml creamy sauce or mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll the crescent dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and cut strips along both sides, leaving the center uncut.
  3. Layer chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese down the center. Drizzle with the creamy sauce.
  4. Fold the dough strips over the filling, alternating sides to create a braid.
  5. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until deeply golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

This braid is perfect for a weeknight dinner and can be customized with your favorite fillings, such as turkey or cheddar cheese instead.
