Ingredients
  

Chicken Cutlets
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 piece egg whisked with a splash of milk
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup Panko
  • 100 ml vegetable oil for frying
Garlic Butter
  • 4 tbsp salted butter slightly melted
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan
Caesar Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt choose your preference
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1 tsp salt & pepper to taste
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces hoagies or baguette sliced
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce chopped or shredded

Method
 

  1. Prepare the chicken cutlets by seasoning the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Panko.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken cutlets until golden and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. For the garlic butter, mix melted butter, mayo, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan in a bowl.
  5. For the Caesar dressing, combine mayo, sour cream, Parmesan, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, anchovy paste, Worcestershire sauce, grated garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Slice the hoagies or baguette and spread garlic butter on the inside. Toast lightly if desired.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches with chicken cutlets, romaine lettuce, and a generous amount of Caesar dressing.

Notes

These sandwiches are delicious when served warm. Feel free to add more lettuce or extra dressing based on your taste preference. Enjoy with a side of your favorite chips or a fresh salad.
