  • 454 g ground beef
  • 1 g small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 240 ml sour cream
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne or rotini work great)
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream. Mix well.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced mushrooms to the mixture. Stir to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  7. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

This pasta bake can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving. Pair it with a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
