Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
For the Mustard Cream Sauce
  • 60 g butter
  • 60 ml Dijon mustard
  • 60 ml heavy cream
  • 1 tsp honey

Method
 

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken and coat evenly.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the Dijon mustard, heavy cream, and honey. Cook and stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the chicken with the mustard cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Cajun seasoning. Serve the chicken with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a green salad.
