Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 454 g lean ground beef use lean to reduce grease
  • 1 cup diced yellow onion adds sweetness and flavor
  • 1 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground for best flavor
  • 240 ml water helps mix the seasoning
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 226 g Colby jack cheese, shredded shred for even melting
  • 340 g tortilla chips Tostitos brand use about half the bag
Optional Garnish
  • 1 cup Sour cream for serving
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes freshly chopped
  • 1 cup Chopped fresh cilantro adds freshness

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the lean ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced yellow onion, salt, black pepper, water, and taco seasoning to the beef. Stir to combine and simmer until the onion is soft.
  4. Layer the tortilla chips in a Bundt pan, followed by the beef mixture and then the shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes, then invert the Bundt pan onto a large plate or platter.
  7. Garnish with sour cream, diced tomatoes, and chopped fresh cilantro if desired.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add jalapeños or hot sauce. These nachos make a great party centerpiece!
