Ingredients

Buffalo Chicken Mozzarella Sticks
  • 2 cups Shredded Chicken Use store-bought rotisserie chicken or cook fresh chicken.
  • 0.5 cup Buffalo Sauce Adjust to your preferred spice level.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Fresh or low-moisture works best.
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour Forms the first layer of breading.
  • 2 large Eggs Essential for binding.
  • 2 cups Panko Breadcrumbs Preferred for a light, crispy coat.
  • 2 cups Cooking Oil Use oils with a high smoke point.
  • 1 cup Dipping Sauces Serve with blue cheese or ranch.

Equipment

  • Frying Pan
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Paper Towels

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  2. Prepare the breading by setting up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Shape the chicken mixture into sticks. Dip each stick first into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally into the panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the sticks until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add more buffalo sauce or sprinkle some chili flakes before serving. Perfect for game nights or as a party appetizer.
