  • 454 g yuca (cassava), peeled and cut into 1-inch thick sticks
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper

Method
 

  1. Rinse the yuca sticks under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yuca sticks, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the yuca sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Cook for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once golden and crispy, remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the yuca in water for 30 minutes before cooking, then dry thoroughly before seasoning.
