Ingredients

Venison Steaks
  • 2 g venison steaks (6-8 ounces each)
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 0.5 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 g fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Rub the marinade evenly over both sides of the venison steaks.
  4. Place the seasoned steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  5. Cook the steaks at 400°F for 6 minutes.
  6. Flip the steaks and cook for an additional 6 minutes for medium-rare (adjust time to 7-8 minutes for medium).
  7. Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; aim for 130°F for medium-rare. Letting the steaks rest before slicing helps retain juices.
