Ingredients
  

Venison Chops
  • 2 pz venison chops (about 1 inch thick, approximately 6 oz each)
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 0.5 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaino fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and fresh herbs if using.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the venison chops.
  4. Place the seasoned venison chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  5. Cook the chops in the air fryer for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  6. Check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare. If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Remove the chops from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate the venison chops in the seasoning mixture for 1-2 hours before cooking.
