- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the turkey legs dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using). Mix well to create a marinade.
- Add the turkey legs to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade.
- Place the turkey legs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded (cook in batches if necessary).
- Cook the turkey legs at 400°F for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, flip the turkey legs and continue cooking for an additional 20 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Once done, let the turkey legs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, spray the turkey legs lightly with cooking spray before air frying. Serve with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
