- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of the tuna steaks.
- Place the tuna steaks in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 130°F for medium-rare.
- Remove the tuna steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a more intense flavor, marinate the tuna steaks in the oil and spice mixture for 30 minutes before air frying. Serve hot with a side salad for a complete meal.
