- Rub each trout inside and out with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the seasoned trout in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not overcrowded; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry the trout at 380°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the skin is crispy.
- Remove the trout from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh herbs such as parsley or dill inside the cavity of the trout before cooking. This dish pairs well with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
