- Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
- Add soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss until tofu is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss gently to coat each piece.
- Place the tofu cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
- Once done, remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by 2-3 minutes, checking frequently to avoid burning. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or add to a salad for a tasty meal.
