Ingredients
  

Tofu
  • 400 g firm tofu
  • 30 ml soy sauce
  • 15 g cornstarch
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Toss until tofu is evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle cornstarch over the tofu and toss gently to coat each piece.
  6. Place the tofu cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  8. Once done, remove and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by 2-3 minutes, checking frequently to avoid burning. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or add to a salad for a tasty meal.
