- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the sardines evenly with the olive oil mixture.
- Place the sardines in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
- Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve with lemon slices.
Notes
For extra crispiness, allow the sardines to rest at room temperature for 5 minutes before cooking. Serve with a side of fresh salad for a complete meal.
