Ingredients
  

Sardines
  • 1 lb fresh sardines, cleaned and gutted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino sea salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 piece lemon, sliced (for serving)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper.
  3. Coat the sardines evenly with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Place the sardines in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  5. Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve with lemon slices.

Notes

For extra crispiness, allow the sardines to rest at room temperature for 5 minutes before cooking. Serve with a side of fresh salad for a complete meal.
