Rutabaga
  • 680 g 1 medium rutabaga (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 0.5 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 0.5 cucchiaino paprika optional

Method
 

  1. Peel the rutabaga and cut it into 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the rutabaga cubes with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the seasoned rutabaga cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Air fry at 400°F for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Check for tenderness; rutabaga should be fork-tender and slightly crispy on the outside. If needed, air fry for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme during the last few minutes of cooking.
