- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the rabbit pieces to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the marinated rabbit pieces in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd.
- Cook at 400°F for 25 minutes, flipping the rabbit pieces halfway through for even cooking.
- Once cooked, check that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to ensure the rabbit is cooked through without drying it out. Pair with a light salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
