Ingredients
  

Quail
  • 4 whole quail, cleaned and spatchcocked
Marinade
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 0.5 cucchiaino dried thyme

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme to create a marinade.
  2. Rub the marinade evenly over both sides of the spatchcocked quail. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated quail in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side up.
  5. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, then flip the quail and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the quail from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy skin, spray the quail lightly with cooking spray before air frying. Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
