- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Rub both sides of each chop with olive oil, then evenly coat with the spice mixture.
- Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overlapping.
- Cook at 400°F for 12 minutes, flipping halfway through (at the 6-minute mark).
- Check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 145°F. If needed, cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops in the olive oil and spice mixture for 30 minutes prior to cooking.
