Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the pheasant breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and thyme.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pheasant breasts.
- Place the seasoned pheasant breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Cook for 15 minutes, then flip the breasts and cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the pheasant in the spice mixture and olive oil for 1-2 hours before cooking.
