- Peel the parsnips and cut them into even-sized sticks, about 1/2 inch thick.
- In a large bowl, toss the parsnip sticks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned parsnips in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking, until golden brown and tender.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispiness, soak the cut parsnips in cold water for 30 minutes before drying them thoroughly and seasoning.
