Ingredients
  

Mussels
  • 1 lb fresh mussels cleaned and debearded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cucchiaino red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 cucchiaino Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 g Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, toss the cleaned mussels with olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the white wine (or chicken broth) to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Place the mussels in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once cooked, remove the mussels and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Ensure the mussels are closed before cooking; discard any that remain open after cooking. Mussels pair wonderfully with crusty bread to soak up the delicious juices.
