- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cut the mashua into uniform pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
- In a mixing bowl, toss the mashua pieces with olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned mashua in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd.
- Air fry for 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Check for tenderness; if needed, cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside.
- Remove from air fryer, let cool slightly, and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme during the last few minutes of cooking. Serve as a side dish with your favorite protein.
