Ingredients
  

Mackerel
  • 2 whole mackerel cleaned and gutted
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 1 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the mackerel under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and minced garlic.
  4. Rub the oil mixture inside and outside the mackerel, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Place the mackerel in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the mackerel and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can increase the temperature to 400°F for the last 2 minutes of cooking.
