Method
- In a bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Brush the outside of the hot dog buns with melted butter.
- Place the buns in the air fryer basket and cook for 2 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove the buns from the air fryer, fill each with the lobster mixture, and return them to the air fryer for an additional 3 minutes to warm the filling.
- Serve immediately, optionally on a bed of lettuce.
Notes
For added flavor, try toasting the buns with a sprinkle of garlic powder before air frying.
