Ingredients
  

Leeks
  • 4 medium leeks
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 0.5 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaio lemon juice optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Trim the roots and dark green tops of the leeks, leaving the white and light green parts. Cut them in half lengthwise and rinse thoroughly to remove any dirt.
  3. Pat the leeks dry with a paper towel.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the leeks with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  5. Place the leeks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to work in batches if your fryer is small.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the leeks are tender and lightly browned.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon juice if desired before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the leeks during the last 2 minutes of cooking. This adds a delightful cheesy finish to your dish.
