- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim the roots and dark green tops of the leeks, leaving the white and light green parts. Cut them in half lengthwise and rinse thoroughly to remove any dirt.
- Pat the leeks dry with a paper towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the leeks with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Place the leeks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to work in batches if your fryer is small.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the leeks are tender and lightly browned.
- Remove from the air fryer and drizzle with lemon juice if desired before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the leeks during the last 2 minutes of cooking. This adds a delightful cheesy finish to your dish.
