- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash and thoroughly dry the kale leaves. Remove the stems and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Place the kale in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches).
- Air fry the kale for 5 minutes, then shake the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Continue to air fry for an additional 3 minutes, checking for crispness.
- Remove the kale chips once they are crispy and lightly browned. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
Make sure the kale leaves are completely dry before adding oil to ensure they become crispy. You can experiment with different spices to suit your taste.
