- Peel the jicama and cut it into thin sticks or cubes, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a large bowl, combine the jicama with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned jicama in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If necessary, work in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until jicama is golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crunch, soak the jicama sticks in water for 30 minutes before seasoning and air frying. Drain and pat dry before proceeding with the recipe.
