Ingredients
  

Fennel Bulbs
  • 2 bulbs medium fennel bulbs
  • 2 cucchiaio olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 1/2 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino dried thyme optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the tops and bottoms of the fennel bulbs, then slice them into wedges (about 1-inch thick).
  3. In a large bowl, toss the fennel wedges with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme (if using) until well coated.
  4. Place the fennel wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; work in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fennel is tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fennel just before serving.
