Ingredients
  

Elk Ribs
  • 907 g elk ribs
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 cucchiaino salt
  • 1 cucchiaino black pepper
  • 1 cucchiaino smoked paprika
  • 1 cucchiaino garlic powder
  • 1 cucchiaino onion powder
  • 0.5 cucchiaino cayenne pepper optional
  • 120 ml barbecue sauce for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the elk ribs.
  4. Place the seasoned elk ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Cook the ribs at 400°F for 15 minutes.
  6. After 15 minutes, flip the ribs and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach at least 145°F (63°C). If needed, cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Remove the ribs from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving with barbecue sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice mixture for 1 hour before cooking. Serve with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
